What is a QR code?
A QR code is a scan-able image that links to an internet website, video or document.
How are QR codes used in the classroom?
QR codes are engaging and interactive during centers, whole group lessons or hallway displays. In third grade we use QR codes heavily in small group learning. For example, today students were solving inequalities using whiteboards and manipulatives. After, solving the inequalities with group members, students were able to check their thinking by scanning a QR code. The QR code revealed the answer to each task. Students were SO engaged and motivated to solve math and scan codes!
